Post-Surgical Recovery of a Dog with Wobbler Syndrome
This 6-year-old Doberman presented with progressive severe non-ambulatory tetraparesis. The MRI confirmed a traction-responsive disc associated compression in the caudal cervical spine and so the dog underwent a complete ventral slot with fixation in distraction. Hopefully, this demonstrates the type of recovery that can be seen in some of these dogs following surgery and with supportive care in the following days to weeks.
