MRI of cats with suspected epileptic seizures

In this Journal Club webinar sponsored by Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging, Dr Anna Knebel discusses her recent publication on MRI assessment of cats with suspected seizure activity. Similar to a prior MRI-based retrospective study involving dogs with epileptic seizures, this retrospective imaging-based study aimed to analyze the epidemiological distribution of MRI-based presumptive imaging diagnoses in cats with structural brain lesions and to provide prevalence estimates of idiopathic epilepsy in a large referral cohort of cats undergoing MRI for suspected epileptic seizures.
